Your Wellbeing is Essential

"There are hard days in motherhood.  But looking at your baby sleeping reminds you why it's all worth it."

-Mama, you've got this.

Very often in a society of go-go-go, new moms are expected to return to work as soon as possible while still adapting to life with a new baby. Many new moms may even believe they need to get out, lose that baby weight, and return to life as soon as possible.

However, this time of recovery is essential and crucial. Not only did they just give birth, but they are now feeding their baby with their own bodies, adapting to a new life with a baby, as well as adapting to a newborn's schedule. Most moms after birth are exhausted and depleted. This is a time to recover, rest, and become established in your new role as mom.

There is so much information out there about diets and what you should be eating and shouldn't be eating and what's best for your body versus what isn't. But the truth is, your body is unique and there isn't a "one size fits all" diet out there. Yeah, some people should eat raw...but, others should not. While some feel good on paleo, others need to have more grains.

When it comes to pregnancy and postpartum, your nutrition is benefitting you and your baby, and you need to make sure you are getting the right foods for your body. So, if you aren't sure how to navigate all the information out there, or if you're having gut issues and aren't sure what to do about it, this consult could be beneficial.

BlessingWay Ceremony

There was a time where women would gather together to empower and support the mother as she prepares for the transformational journey into motherhood. Originating from indigenous cultures, this rite of passage was passed down from generation to generation and woman to woman. It's called the Blessingway. In this ceremony, the mother is nurtured through customized herbal foot soak therapy, stress-relief acupuncture, and hand/foot massa. She feels supported and empowered as her loved ones bless her with prayers, gifts, and blessings.  It is a powerful and empowering experience for any new mother who wants a deeper connection to her baby, herself, and her tribe. It helps to heal trauma, release fear, and bring baby into the world with confidence. This  rite of passage celebrates birth as the sacred event that it is. This ceremony helps new mothers feel supported, nurtured, and confident as she embarks on her motherhood journey.
